Mesir Genting, SBY Perintahkan Evakuasi Udara

Presiden Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono memerintahkan semua warga Indonesia yang saat ini ada di Mesir dievakuasi lewat udara. Perintah ini menyusul kondisi terakhir di negara piramida yang semakin memburuk. "Untuk mengamankan dan menyelamatkan warga," katanya dalam jumpa pers seusai rapat terbatas di Kantor Presiden, Senin (31/1).

Evakuasi akan dilakukan lewat udara, menggunakan pesawat Garuda Indonesia dan pesawat-pesawat lain yang tersedia.

Yudhoyono membentuk Satuan Tugas khusus untuk menangani evakuasi 6.149 warga Indonesia yang tercatat kini ada di Mesir. Anggota Dewan Pertimbangan Presiden Nur Hassan Wirajuda ditunjuk sebagai ketuanya, dan Wakil Ketua Staf TNI Angkatan Udara Marsekal Madya Sukirno.

"Pertimbangan saya, Pak Hassan adalah mantan Duta Besar di Mesir, dan mantan Menteri Luar Negeri, sehingga cakap dan tepat untuk memimpin tugas ini," tuturnya.

Yudhoyono memerintahkan malam ini juga tim pendahulu harus segera berangkat ke Kairo untuk mempersiapkan evakuasi. Pemerintah juga bersiap mengangkut logistik yang diperlukan warga namun kini sulit diperoleh.

Ia menambahkan, Menteri Luar Negeri Marty Natalegawa bakal memanggil Duta Besar Mesir di Indonesia untuk mengkoordinasikan evakuasi, serta meminta dukungan dan kerja samanya.

Dalam Satuan Tugas yang dibentuk Yudhoyono, terdapat pula unsur dari sejumlah kementerian dan tentara, antara lain Kementerian Perhubungan, Kementerian Hukum dan Hak Asasi Manusia, Kementerian Kesehatan, serta TNI.

Kementerian Luar Negeri mencatat dari 6.149 warga Indonesia di Mesir, 4.297 orang adalah mahasiswa, dan 1.002 orang Tenaga Kerja Indonesia. Sisanya ialah warga lain yang berdomisili di sana, termasuk staf Kedutaan Besar RI dan keluarganya.
